You can delete your Gistbox account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, in line with the requirements of Facebook Login, Google Sign-In, and the Apple App Store and Google Play stores.
Option 1 — Delete from your profile
- Sign in to Gistbox and open the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and personal data are scheduled for permanent deletion.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you signed up with Facebook or Google and can no longer sign in, email us at privacy@gistbox.tv from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number).
- Your watch history, watch progress, and continue-watching data.
- Linked social sign-in connections (Facebook / Google).
What we may retain
We may retain a limited set of records where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse. Such records are kept only as long as necessary and are otherwise inaccessible.
Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once your data has been removed.
